Sr. Product Designer for the Future of SOC Experiences

What we are looking for

An experienced senior lead designer who can craft differentiated and market leading experiences for the Security Operations Center. We are looking for a designer who can push the boundaries of data visualization, workflows, visual and motion design, with a goal of helping SOC analysts detect and response to high priority threats faster and more intuitively than they ever thought possible.

What You'll Do

As a Senior Designer you will:

  • Lead UX initiatives independently, capture requirements, wireframe, design in high fidelity, develop prototypes, deliver production quality assets, and ensure that implementations meet expectations.
  • Work with other product teams in Cisco's Security Business Group to standardize UI elements and components for a uniform look and feel and shared capabilities across the portfolio.
  • Possess the critical thinking skills, inventiveness, and work ethic required to design complex workflows, data-rich views, and interactive visualizations!
  • Design to the vision while being able to deliver elements with urgency for rapid release cycles.
  • Proactively identify and participate in the resolution of sophisticated problems that impact the direction of the business.
  • Develop and deliver innovation that benefits customers and/or clients.
  • Lead major business projects which impact a region or entire function.
  • Contribute to the development of annual organizational objectives/priorities.
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with key partners to ensure products and services reflect the needs and direction of the business.
  • Mentor, Inspire and provide design direction for other designers within the organization.

Who You'll Work With

You will work closely with individuals and teams across and outside the organization (stakeholders, product managers, engineering, integrators, customers…) to represent both user and business interests in order to improve the product and portfolio experience.

 Our team is looking for a candidate who will:

  • Self-motivated by the challenges put in front of them.
  • Able to take charge of the UX design process and work independently from start to finish, working across multiple subject areas to see designs from inception to production.
  • Passionate about investigating new trends, techniques, and technologies and using them to keep products and processes innovative and highly effective.
  • Comfortable working with tight deadlines, longer-term achievement, and the deliverables and diverse personalities associated with both.

Who You Are

We are looking for a team member that has the following Basic Qualifications:

  • 12+ years of experience designing solutions representing large, complex data sets, enterprise-type workflows, and interactive visualizations in an intuitive manner.
  • 7+ years of experience defining and implementing design initiatives, mentoring designers, and setting design strategy.
  • 7+ years of experience designing solutions for large, complex data sets, enterprise application workflows, integration-powered product ecosystems, and interactive visualizations in an intuitive user-centered manner.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • A wide range of skills that includes interviewing partners, creating interactive prototypes, and mapping out sophisticated workflows.
  • Experience with integration-focused product ecosystems and the challenges involved (APIs, authorization models, context switching, etc.)
  • User-centered design process experience, with a solid foundational knowledge of visual design principles
  • Experience leading with a customer centered point of view, develops principles, and frameworks grounded in customer insights and data.
  • Seeks to collaboratively improve upon and implement product design processes enabling team members to ship a better experience more efficiently and with greater transparency.
  • Experience with Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, or other design software packages.
  • Zealously engages in and initiates design discussions, thought explorations, and working sessions with an ability to up the level of participation while remaining enthusiastic about outstanding outcomes for our users.
  • Maintains a proficiency in craft across the many design subject areas and can impart their experience and skills to the improvement of the team’s deliverables.

Les plans de vente de Cisco ne prévoient pas de seuil minimum de performance pour le versement de la rémunération incitative des ventes.
