What You'll Do
You will be the Compliance Lead for the DACH and Eastern Europe region (with focus on Germany) supporting Cisco Capital's business. You will lead and implement an effective and efficient compliance risk management program that is crafted to proactively mitigate compliance risk in support of Cisco Capital’s enablement of the business. You will collaborate with and influence cross-functional groups within Cisco and Cisco Capital on various compliance-related matters across multiple jurisdictions. You will cultivate a culture in which compliance is an integral part of Cisco Capital’s business environment.

Who You'll Work With
The Compliance Lead for the DACH and Eastern Europe region will join the Global Compliance team and report directly to the Head of Global Compliance for Cisco Capital.
You will be an active member of the Cisco Capital Compliance Team and Cisco Capital EMEA Team, and be responsible for the day-to-day management of all regulatory compliance matters arising in the DACH and Eastern Europe region in relation to this business line.
The work is dynamic, varied and wide-reaching, involving close coordination with Legal, Sales, Operations, Risk, Finance, Accounting, Tax, Capital Markets and many other teams.
The role will have additional responsibilities supporting the Global Compliance Team and Cisco Capital business, including driving process simplification initiatives and other projects that benefit our customers and the global compliance team throughout the world.
Who You Are
The successful candidate will give to the encouraging and collaborative working model within Cisco Capital and the Global Compliance team, and will:
- Be responsible for running and implementing all aspects of the Compliance Program for the DACH and Eastern Europe region and ensure our programs, products and services, and activities are in compliance with all applicable country specific and international laws, regulations, rules, standards of good practices, as well as the company’s internal policies.
- Hold the position of Money Laundering Reporting Officer (MLRO) for the German Cisco Capital legal entity and potentially additional duties (e.g., Fraud Officer, Risk Officer, Outsourcing Officer)
- Ensure the regulatory filings are completed in a timely manner and liaise with and be the main contact for the regulatory bodies (e.g. BaFin and BuBa in Germany)
- Supervise and identify relevant emerging risks and opportunities, and industry developments and work with business partners to operationalize new compliance requirements and build adequate controls to pro-actively mitigate risk.
- Provide subject matter expertise and consulting for new or modified products and services or expansion into new markets and perform business change compliance risk assessments to identify, assess, and build controls to mitigate compliance risk.
- Give to the continuous evolution of the end-to-end Compliance Program, including regulatory change management, policies and procedures, risk assessments, regulatory exam and issue management, compliance training and third-party risk management, with the flexibility to expand and address other requirements emerging in the business.
The Minimum Qualifications we are looking for:
- Bachelors’ or Master’s degree in a related subject area.
- ACAMS or other professional certification preferred.
- Minimum of 8 years' experience in a compliance function at a financial services institution (leasing, factoring), financial institution (banking), a captive finance business, and/or financial technology company (non-banking).
- Fluent in German and English (speaking, reading and writing)
- Knowledge and experience working with German regulations (in particular KWG, MaRisk, GwG) and German regulators (BaFin and BuBa).
- Experience with regulatory filings, reporting requirements, exams and audits.
- Experience managing communication and relationships with external regulatory authorities.
- Highly accountable and organized, self-starter, pro-active and driven to take ownership and lead complex tasks across multiple stakeholders
Our Desired Skills are:
- In-depth knowledge of regulatory compliance risk management framework (second line of defense) and compliance risk mitigation techniques.
- Expert knowledge of German laws and regulations (e.g. KWG, MaRisk, GwG) applicable to financial services institutions (leasing, factoring).
- Strong knowledge of MaRisk requirements in terms of Risk Management.
- Strong knowledge of European Union regulations applicable to financial services institutions (leasing, factoring) and non-banking financial institutions including anti-money laundering, know your customer, due diligence, sanctions.
- Dynamic and forward-thinking compliance authority who views compliance as a strategic advantage and an enabler of the business.
- Collaborative, with outstanding communication, people and organizational skills and a steadfast dedication to continuous improvement.

Les employés participant à des plans de vente reçoivent, en plus de leur salaire de base, une rémunération incitative fondée sur les performances, qui est répartie entre les composantes sur quota et non. Pour la rémunération incitative basée sur des quotas, Cisco paie au taux standard de 1 % de la cible incitative pour chaque 1 % de chiffre d’affaires réalisé par rapport au quota jusqu’à 100 %. Une fois que la performance dépasse 100 % du quota, les taux incitatifs peuvent augmenter jusqu’à cinq fois le taux standard sans plafonnement de la rémunération incitative. Pour les éléments de performance des ventes non basés sur des quotas, tels que les objectifs de vente stratégiques, Cisco peut payer jusqu’à 125 % de l’objectif. Les plans de vente de Cisco ne prévoient pas de seuil minimum de performance pour le versement de la rémunération incitative des ventes.
