About the Team
Our team is passionate about delivering security outcomes for customers as part of a cloud-managed access control service, reducing risk for customers, reducing time and effort in leading security policies, and helping them meet compliance goals more easily. We are focused on delivering the most complete user experience possible for enabling and running identity-based micro-segmentation at scale.
The Opportunity
We are seeking a Senior Product Manager to join a key Zero-Trust security initiative, Adaptive Policy. Our customers build large and sophisticated networks to power their business which we strive to help them secure.
We want to help our customers deal with the proliferation of IoT devices, help them establish levels of trust with connected users and devices, apply policies to protect their assets, and deal with sophisticated problems like the lateral movement of threats.
This is an outstanding opportunity to join a team who are passionate about delivering new security capabilities to customers. At Cisco Meraki, you will enjoy the benefit of Meraki’s agile startup culture while gaining the scale and resources of a global corporation such as Cisco!
What You Will Do
Your primary responsibility will be to own the strategy and roadmap for identity-based access controls, authenticating users, and fingerprinting devices to which customers can then apply granular access controls across many networking and security products.
- Lead the efforts in IoT device onboarding, classification, and management, ensuring a secure and efficient process for integrating a diverse array of devices into the network.
- Obsess about building the best possible experience for customers who need to authenticate users and devices against an array of cloud identity providers and sources of contextual data.
- Collaborate with our engineering, UX, data science, and product teams to build and deliver experiences that delight and engage our security customers.
- Collect and analyze feedback from customers, stakeholders, and other teams to shape requirements, features, and end products.
- We judge ourselves on how well our products solve customer problems, and we use data to measure our success and inform product direction.
Who You Are
- 10+ years of experience in a product management role managing all aspects of SaaS products throughout the product lifecycle. This experience also includes:
- At least 5 years of security SaaS experience with an understanding of security technologies and SaaS architectures.
- Product management experience in cybersecurity, with a focus on Network Access Control products.
- Experience with NAC technologies, industry trends, and regulatory compliance requirements.
- Strong product management experience with authentication and device classification, including 802.1x authentication of users and devices, EAP methods, credentials, and certificates that may be involved.
- You know Cloud IdPs, SSO, SAML, OAuth, and other identity and access management technologies.
- Experience with IoT device onboarding, classification, and management.
- Experience with networking technology that gives you technical fluency in networking basics. We're flexible about how you gained this experience. It can come from professional experience, classroom learning, or having the best home network on your block.
- Passionate about building excellent user experiences by living and breathing data, metrics, and hypotheses. With that passion comes focus so that the team works on what matters most instead of day-to-day noise.
- An "always learning" orientation, because as we advance the state of the art, it will be time to burn the old rule book and write a new one.
- Ability to drive product vision to execution, and to influence others with data-driven recommendations.
- Comfortable presenting to internal and external audiences.
